Jesus Christ is the Seed of the Woman

Jesus Christ is the Seed of the Woman: “And the Lord God said to the Serpent… ‘And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.’” Genesis 3:15 KJVER

Foretold in Psalms 22:1 Christ’s heel was bruised when, on the cross, He called out, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me!” (Matt. 27:46; Mark 15:34; KJVER ) When Christ died on the cross, He gained the victory for us.  The full force of evil confederated together in an effort to destroy Him but without success.  Every pang of suffering Christ bore helped tear away the foundation of Satan’s kingdom. Although Christ’s heel was bruised by the serpent, Satan lies about God were mortally wounded among the heavenly host and the entire universe when he instigated the religious leaders and mob to crucify Christ.

With every advance move, Satan is actually bringing himself closer his own self-destruction.

In the very act of Satan grasping Christ as his victim,

by dying Christ won the right to grant immortality to all who accept Him as their personal Savior.

And, in the future, will withdraw His life-sustaining power from His adversary.

In due time, Christ will destroy death, and all of its ill effects. Satan will perish with all of his evil angels. And the unrepentant, too, will die, never to live again. Sin will be destroyed forever! (Matt. 25:41; 1 Corinthians 15:54-55; 1 Peter 1:4-5; Revelation 20:14-15; 21:8;  KJVER )  What beautiful promises!

How is your relationship with our loving heavenly Father? Are you permitting God to plant His Seed of Truth in your mind by studying the life of Jesus, the Seed of the woman, the absolute revelation of God’s character? Have you accepted Christ as your personal Savior, your only hope of salvation? Are you permitting the Holy Spirit to defeat Satan in your life, giving you victory over every known sin? Is Satan’s head being bruised in your life?

Praise God for the Seed of the woman, Jesus! (Matthew 1:21 KJVER)
