Jesus is the God who sees us

“And she (Hagar) called the name of the Lord that spoke to her ‘You God see me’ for she said, “Have I also here looked after Him that sees me?” Genesis 16:13 KJVER

You God see me,” oh, if we would only keep those words in our mind! Would it not encourage us to repress words that should never be said and rash promises that should never be made?

God sees me, what a safeguard against passionate speeches, imprudent words, and ungodly actions with the desire to dominate and control others! And the making rules and regulations that restrict the liberty of freedom for others.

Jesus sees us as individuals, with an individual personality and identity of our very own which is not to be surrendered to any other human being. Our life must be hid with our Savior, surrendered only to Him; not under the control of erring, sinful human beings, no matter how powerful they may be.

We are free moral agent to choose whom we will serve. Choosing to serve the “God who sees us”, guided by His Holy Spirit, we will not be troubled by the fitful, perverse decisions of unholy people seeking to control us.

Do you realize you are one of a kind? Uniquely special and, in God’s sight, so precious He would have died for you alone if you were the only one who disobeyed His magnificent Law of Love! Remember Jesus sees all that is said and done, not to condemn but to redeem! Therefore, it is in your best interest to listen to His instruction and render to God what is His and to humanity what is theirs.

Praise the God who sees us and, willingly, gave Himself to save us from sin and cleanses us from all unrighteousness!
